Grill Chef / Expediter — Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Romano’s Restaurant & Catering, an established family-owned Italian restaurant in Woodbridge, is looking for an experienced Grill Chef / Expediter to join our kitchen team.

This is a key weekend position for someone who is confident on the grill, works well under pressure and can help keep a busy dinner service organized and running smoothly.

Schedule:Friday & Saturday eveningsSunday lunch & dinnerWeekend availability is required.

Responsibilities
Work the grill station, preparing steaks, chicken, seafood and other menu items
Expedite during busy service and ensure dishes leave the kitchen accurately, consistently and on time
Coordinate with other kitchen stations to maintain smooth service
Assist with catering and event preparation when required
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness and food safety
Work efficiently in a rapid-paced, team-oriented kitchen

Requirements:
Minimum 5–6 years of skilled restaurant kitchen experience
Strong grill experience is essential
Experience expediting a busy full-service restaurant




Good knowledge of Italian cuisine
Catering experience is an asset
Food Handler Certification
Reliable, organized and calm under pressure
Robust communication and leadership skills during service
Must be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Compensation:Competitive hourly wage — negotiable based on experience and skill level. We’re looking for someone experienced, dependable and confident who takes pride in their food and wants a steady position with an established restaurant.
