Calscapes is looking for a Snow Removal Foreman to lead one of our winter crews. We're a Calgary company with 20+ years in the business and an all in-house team — this is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can run equipment themselves, train others to do the same, and take full ownership of a crew and its sites.

What you'll do
Lead and coordinate a crew of laborers and skid steer operators during snow events, from call-out to site sign-off
Operate a skid steer yourself when needed — this is a working foreman role, not a desk job
Assign work across sites based on priority, weather conditions, and contract requirements
Train current and junior operators on safe, efficient skid steer operation and site technique
Perform quality checks to make sure every site meets contract standards (clearing, salting/sanding)
Communicate with dispatch/management on site status, crew needs, and equipment issues
Enforce safety procedures in office and hold the crew accountable to them

What we're looking for
3+ years supervising or leading a landscaping,



construction, or snow removal crew
Proven, hands-on skid steer operating experience — able to run the machine at a skilled level, not just direct others on it
Demonstrated ability to train and onboard new operators/laborers in the field
Valid driver's license
Current certifications preferred: [OH&S;, WHMIS, CSTS, Standard First Aid/CPR, or equivalent]
Solid communicator who can make quick calls in the field under time pressure and keep a crew organized during storms
Available for on-call work during winter storms, including nights/weekends

What we offer
$30.00–$36.00/hr depending on experience
