Society is seeking a dedicated RAP Worker for a term contract from December 1, 2026, to December 24, 2027. You’ll assist Government-Assisted Refugees (GARs) with essential settlement services, addressing their immediate needs for a successful transition. Ideal candidates will bring at least two years of experience in social services and familiarity with the unique challenges faced by newcomers. Key Responsibilities:
Support GAR clients upon arrival and during initial resettlement
Conduct needs assessments and provide timely referrals
Facilitate orientations connecting clients to community resources
Maintain detailed client records and report program outcomes
Assist clients in accessing federal and provincial services Requirements:
Undergraduate diploma/degree in a related discipline
Minimum 2 years experience in a multicultural setting
Knowledge of local community resources for refugees
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Class 5 driver's license and own transportation required This position is crucial for supporting the long-term integration of Government-Assisted Refugees into the community.
