Full time Responsibilities include:
To work as part of a team in a residential program
Supervision and monitoring of clients
Teach Functional living skills
Behaviour Management
Assist clients with daily routines and personal care
Provide community orienteering and leisure activities
Conduct appointments
Administer medication
Data collection and documentation
Shared responsibility for cooking/ household tasks
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Participate in all scheduled staff training programs/ meetings
Hours of work are based on a schedule that includes evenings and weekends
Qualifications/Experience:
Post-secondary certificate in DSW, CYW, SSW, or equivalent and/or related University degree/ experience
Knowledge and experience in Mental Health, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Developmental Challenges
Good team building skills
Good interactive/ communication skills (verbal and written)
Positive organization and time management skills
Reliable with positive work ethic
Driver's License preferred for this position to assist with Community programs, medical appointments, etc
