Westar Group of Companies is based out of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and specializes in aggregate processing, transportation, forestry and earthwork. Westar has an prospect for a highly motivated, experienced and responsible individual as a Grader Operator.
This is a camp based position, (5 on 2 off shift)
This position is part of long term contract
Camp is located 1.5 hours from Prince Albert
Recent Cat graders with joystick controls

Note* Ability and experience operating other heavy equipment is an asset.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Maintain gravel roads as per specifications
Maintain accurate records and logs
Perform equipment inspections and preventative maintenance before, during, and after each shift
Maintain cleanliness of work area
Problem solving when dealing with unexpected situations

Must follow all safety procedures.

Ability to problem-solve and maintain composure if unexpected or undesirable situations arise

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of Grader experience
Experience operating other equipment such as excavator, dozer, skid steer and packer are also an asset
Class 1A licence an asset
