About the Position

St George Academy is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and highly motivated High School Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop a strong understanding of mathematics while strengthening their problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the Ontario Curriculum.
Teach high school mathematics concepts clearly and effectively.
Prepare assignments, assessments, projects, and examinations.
Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Use differentiated instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom setting.
Incorporate appropriate technology and innovative teaching strategies.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and student support.
Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and school administration.
Participate in staff meetings,



qualified-development activities, and school events.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education, or a related field.
must be fluent in English
Robust knowledge of high school mathematics.
Previous high school teaching experience is preferred.
Excellent communication, classroom-management, and organizational skills.
Ability to create an engaging and student-centred learning environment.
Commitment to supporting students’ academic success and personal growth.
