GFL is seeking an Experienced Diesel Mechanic skilled in maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Your expertise will ensure our fleet operates safely and efficiently. In this position, you will perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on diesel, CNG, and electric vehicles.
Experience in administrative tasks like completion of work orders and scheduling repairs is vital. Safety compliance is paramount as you maintain a clean and organized workspace while utilizing various tools. Key Responsibilities:
Repair heavy-duty trucks and equipment efficiently
Complete daily reports and maintain accurate records
Schedule and procure parts for repairs
Follow safety regulations and maintain secure working conditions
Train and mentor recent employees on repair processes Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma is desirable
At least one year of experience as a diesel mechanic
Capability with diagnostic software preferred
Robust computer literacy and willingness to learn
