What you will be doing!

Participating in customer meetings to gather business requirements and understand operational needs.

Attending development team meetings to discuss project progress, technical challenges, priorities, and planning activities.

Developing software solutions to support both new and existing applications.

Utilizing software change management systems to process change requests and maintain software configuration records.

Assisting with software modifications, enhancements, testing, validation, and deployment activities.

Supporting software and system upgrades across a variety of applications.

Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality software services to internal customers.

Troubleshooting software issues and assisting with problem resolution activities.

Supporting database development, application maintenance and reporting activities.

Contributing to documentation and technical support activities.

Other duties as assigned by your manager.

What we are looking for:

- Education
- Currently enrolled in a College or University program in:
- Computer Science.
- Software Engineering.
- Computer Engineering.




- Information Technology.
- Or a related discipline.

- Experience

- Experience gained through academic projects, co-op placements, internships, research activities, or personal projects related to software development, programming, databases, or web development.
- Experience developing software applications using object-oriented programming principles is considered an asset.

- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Demonstrated knowledge of the C# programming language.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Applied understanding of relational database design principles.
- Working knowledge of web application technologies including HTML, CSS, PHP, Java, and Bootstrap.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and VBA.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer-focused solutions.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Security Clearance Eligibility Required

- Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”

Working Conditions:

- Working schedule: Four (4) days per week, ten (10) hours per day for a forty (40) hour work week.
