Join Sasco's Burnaby team as an Experienced Structured Cabling Technician. Focus on precision installations and ensure top-notch service in low-voltage security systems. In this position, you'll utilize your 5 years of structured cabling expertise to handle installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Reporting to the Division Manager, you will ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications to deliver high-quality solutions while mentoring junior staff. Key Responsibilities:
Install and terminate structured cabling, both copper and fiber
Read blueprints and specifications for project adherence
Use Fluke DSX-5000 for cabling integrity testing
Participate in Toolbox Talks regarding safety measures
Maintain certifications and conduct monthly vehicle inspections Requirements:
High school education required
5 years of structured cabling experience
Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
Ability to pass a background check
