Duties
Thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or manual methods
Maintain a sanitized and organized dishwashing station to promote efficiency and safety
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup
Support the kitchen team by ensuring all items are properly stored and readily available for cooking and serving
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent contamination and ensure a hygienic environment
Dispose of waste responsibly and keep the work area free of clutter to promote a safe workspace
Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service hours
Experience
Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly
Familiarity with food handling procedures, cleaning protocols, and sanitation standards in a commercial setting is advantageous
Experience with food service operations or hotel housekeeping can be beneficial but is not mandatory
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
