Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems or similar cash handling equipment
Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards, ensuring freshness, quality, and food safety compliance
Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and provide correct change using POS systems
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment following food safety guidelines
Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
Assist with food handling procedures,
including proper storage, portioning, and adhering to sanitation standards
Qualifications
Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks during peak hours
