Dog Daycare Attendant

Sherwood Barks is looking for a Part-time Dog Daycare Attendant (Mon-Fri 3pm-7pm, and occasional Saturdays). We want someone who is as passionate about dogs as our team is.

Are passionate about positive reinforcement, and understand force free practices and fear free handling methods
Not afraid of hard work, deep cleaning and temperature changesJob Description:
Supervise small groups of dogs in play and social activities to maintain a positive, safe, and healthy workplace
Be able to effectively interpret canine body language.
Clean and maintain the facility to the highest standards of sanitation
Provide outstanding levels of customer service to all dog parents and potential customers
Ability to stand/walk/hustle for the majority of your shift. Note: this position is a very active type of role, typically doing up to 20,000 steps per 8 hour shift.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs +
Ability to learn computer booking platforms and utilize phone apps to access client information.




Have a valid Driver's license and reliable mode of transportation

Experience level
Previous experience in dog daycare or the pet care industry may be considered an asset
Customer service experience

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Fluent English
Over 18 years of age (as legally required for business insurance purposes when working with animals)

Weekly Schedule:
We are currently looking for someone to fill the hours of 3pm-7pm Mon-Fri, and occasional Saturdays from 8am - 4pm.

Wage: $16- $19 hourly, based on experience Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14.0 – 20.0 per week
