Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, hold a valid Early Childhood BC License be committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere for all students, including those with disabilities.
Utilize effective communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff.
Maintain organized classroom materials and resources to support learning activities.
Demonstrate strong time management skills to balance teaching responsibilities with administrative tasks.




Participate in ongoing career development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Experience
A BC certificate in Early Childhood Education
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
Robust guiding qualities with the ability to inspire young learners.
The ability to work cooperatively with the team.

Job Type: Full time Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
