Full-Time Dental Hygienist

Community Dental Center is looking for a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team in a full time position.

Our ideal candidate is a skilled and compassionate professional who takes pride in providing excellent patient care. You will work alongside our dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative team in a supportive and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities
Provide thorough dental hygiene care and patient assessments
Perform scaling, polishing, periodontal therapy, and preventive treatments
Take dental radiographs when required
Educate patients about oral health and preventive care
Accurately document treatment and patient information
Follow infection prevention and control requirements
Work collaboratively with dentists and other members of the dental team
Help create a comfortable and positive experience for every patient

Qualifications
Diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Registered and in good standing with the appropriate Nova Scotia regulatory body
Current CPR certification
Strong communication, organization,



and interpersonal skills
Commitment to skilled, ethical, and compassionate patient care
Previous dental hygiene experience is an asset; however, current graduates are welcome to apply
