Job Summary

Syncro Security is seeking a professional and reliable Security Guard to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for access control, site patrols, incident reporting, and providing assistance to residents, visitors, and staff.

Schedule

Starting Date: June 14, 2026

Regular Shifts:
Wednesday Nights: 11:45 PM – 8:45 AM
Saturday Nights: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
Sunday Nights: 9:00 PM – 8:45 AM

Responsibilities
Conduct regular foot patrols of the property
Monitor and control access to the site
Verify visitors and maintain access control procedures
Handle reception and concierge-related duties
Monitor site activity and identify potential safety or security concerns
Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
Complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports accurately




Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff
Maintain a professional security presence at all times
Follow company policies, procedures, and site-specific instructions

Requirements
Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Valid Emergency First Aid and CPR Certification
WHMIS Certification
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to write clear and professional reports
Robust observation skills and sound judgment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Availability to work overnight shifts
Skilled appearance and demeanor

Preferred Qualifications
Previous security experience
Experience in concierge, reception, or access control environments
Access to a reliable vehicle
Residence in or near Vaughan
Customer service experience

Pay: $18.00 per hour
