Title: Cisco/Aruba Network Architect

Location: Toronto, ON/Remote

Duration: 6 Months

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise network architecture, with a focus on Cisco and Aruba technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with client personnel to transfer knowledge and achieve network upgrade objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
10 or more years of enterprise network engineering experience, including at least four years in an architecture or lead engineering capacity.
Robust expertise in Wireless technologies, Cisco, SD Wan.
Deep expertise in enterprise routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, spanning tree) across major vendor platforms.
Strong firewall design experience, including policy design and rule base rationalization.
Prior work experience at client or in the client's industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications




Aruba EdgeConnect experience.
Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity (Azure / AWS).
CCNP / CCIE / JNCIP certifications.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Design target-state network architecture, including routing, switching, segmentation, and firewall policies.
Produce network design documentation, including high-level and low-level designs, IP addressing schemes, and traffic flow diagrams.
Provide technical guidance and escalation support to technical SMEs and engineers executing network build, configuration, and cutover activities.
