Quest Support Services Inc is a private agency that provides services that enhance the lives of people with disabilities. Reporting to the Director – Individual Care, this position is a senior management prospect responsible for the operations of the LIVING Department. This position is a leadership role where the successful candidate must demonstrate competence, professionalism, collaboration and a focus on overall Agency operations.
Job Duties
- Oversee Individual Care Supervisor(s) - Living as assigned
- Mentor supervisors, provide feedback, and audit caseloads and documentation
- Complete all items outlined in Individual Care Supervisor: Living ; can work directly with supported individuals as needed
- Monitor staffing hours and individuals’ hours of supports received in the Living Program
- Ensure services align with Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) Service Plan; Report outcomes as required to the Director - Individual Care or designate
- Ensure Living Program management is completing individual annuals and proper documentation
- Attend intakes for individuals wishing to access/change services through Quest Support Services Inc.
- Work in collaboration with the Associate team to increase efficiencies and positive impacts across the Agency
- Serve on community boards in leadership positions to bring positively influential knowledge to improve Agency outcomes
- Ensure the Agency is adhering to applicable Creating Excellence Together (CET) guidelines
- Oversee and complete employee training and discipline as required
- Work in coordination with agency departments to ensure initiatives benefit the Living Program; and coordinate their roll out with necessary parties
- Ensure employee evaluations of DSWI’s and DSWII’s are completed; complete supervisor evaluations
- Conduct abuse investigations according to Abuse Prevention and Response protocol
- Serve as agency trainers both for agency orientation and specialized internal agency courses
- Participate in the PDD philosophy of Quality Assurance by implementing and developing of monitoring systems
- Facilitate communication and requests with agency funders (PDD/Nunavut/Government of Yukon/CFS)
- Ensure that the vision of the agency is carried out in Living Program services
- Provide direction regarding resolving conflicts/issues in the day-to-day of company operations

Requirements/Qualifications
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Psychology or related discipline
- 3 years’ work experience in disability services.
- 1-year work experience in a management role
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License; vehicle to be used for work purposes with $2 million liability coverage
- Clear Criminal Record

- Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00-16:30
