Small family-owned automotive shop looking for a licensed Mechanic/Automotive Service Technician.
Wages will depend on experience!
Duties
Perform inspections and diagnostics to identify vehicle issues accurately
Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting, use of power tools, and welding tasks to maintain a secure work setting
Requirements
Mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop background preferred
Robust mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems and components
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment
Experience with automotive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, etc.
Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety procedures
Excellent communication skills
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
