Donsdale Dental, an independently owned family practice is in search of an exceptional RDA to join our team! Our ideal candidate should have chairside EXPERIENCE, be hard working, friendly, comfortable with patients of all ages and a robust team player that is looking for a long-term position to grow and thrive in a fast paced workplace. The position is full time Monday-Friday with 1 Saturday every other month and Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 7PM. Wages are competitive and benefits are available.
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for dental work
Sterilize dental instruments
Assist dentists during procedures
Educate patients on oral hygiene
Take X-rays and complete lab tasks under the direction of a dentist
Manage and update patient records
Qualifications:
Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience in general dentistry; Invisalign training is an asset
Proficiency in Open Dental is an asset but can be trained
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience as a dental receptionist
Familiarity with implant placement, Invisalign and fabrication of lab appliances.
