Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to inspire students of all ages in developing their musical skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and understanding in piano and guitar instruction, along with experience working with children and a love for fostering musical growth. This role involves creating engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs, promoting a positive learning setting, and encouraging a lifelong appreciation for music.

Responsibilities
Design and deliver customized piano lessons suited to each student’s skill level and learning style
Prepare students for performances, recitals, and exams as appropriate
Foster a supportive and motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
Incorporate music theory, sight-reading, and ear training into lessons




Maintain lesson plans and progress records in an organized manner
Have reliable transportation, have a good attendance record

Experience
Proficient knowledge of your instrument, RCM certificates, university degrees are an asset,
Experience or ability working with children and adults with all experience levels. Children can start piano as young as 4.
No teaching experience is necessary, but you must know how to play your instrument.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
