Job Summary
We are an Exterior cladding contractor, seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for Exterior Cladding work such as Stucco, EIFS, Veneer etc. in construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are accounted for in the bidding process. This role requires solid analytical skills, a good understanding of construction estimating software, and the ability to create quotes and necessary documents for project acquisition.

Duties
Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Utilize construction estimating software such as Bluebeam or Planswift to create detailed project estimates.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.
Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers to secure the best rates.
Review and adjust estimates based on changes in project scope or specifications.
Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.




Provide support during the bidding process by answering questions from clients or stakeholders.

Skills
Proficiency in construction estimating techniques and methodologies.
Robust negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients and contractors.
Familiarity with project management principles to ensure timely completion of estimates.
Experience using Quantity Take-off software for creating detailed estimates is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly.
