St. John Ambulance Ontario is offering an exciting prospect for an ambitious individual to take the role of Business Development Representative for our St. John Ambulance operation in the Central East Region (Ajax, Oshawa, Peterborough, Haliburton, and Northumberland counties) . The successful candidate contributes to St. John’s success by achieving sales and profit objectives through attracting and acquiring current business by leveraging strategic relationships within the Central East Region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Identifies, researches and pursues client prospects to generate new business for St. John Ambulance
Meets with prospects regarding the potential sale of St. John Ambulance products and services
Builds and maintains key relationships with significant clients of St. John Ambulance
Assists in the development of sales and marketing materials and presentations to support sales
Understands and can clearly articulate all St. John Ambulance services, products to potential clients
Remains current with our competitors’ products and services as well as legislative changes and other business related aspects that may have an impact on the sales function and / or other related activities




Attend networking / sales events including but not limited to Chamber of Commerce, Trade shows
Performs other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Post-secondary degree or diploma or equivalent work experience in a relevant area
Successful experience in sales, marketing and customer service
Knowledge of the Central East region community programs related to health and safety
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Computer literate with familiarity and ease with various computer applications, including Internet and E-mail and social media, CRM
Strong customer service skills
Ability to travel within the Central East region as required.

OTHER:
A valid driver’s licence and reliable access to transportation are required.

Pay: $58,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
