Power Express is looking for a permanent full time employee able to drive a 2 ton truck with 30 or 40ft trailers. You will be delivering different size packages/pallets in Edmonton and the surrounding area. The ideal candidate will be flexible with working hours, physically capable of carrying multiple deliveries per day, comfortable with navigating a smartphone handheld and most importantly exhibit secure driving practices at all times. The ideal candidate will also be courteous, kind, and provide great customer service to our customers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities;
Complete pre-trip inspections
Complete deliveries within specified time frames
Loading and unloading packages on the vehicle/trailer
Skills required;
Excellent customer service and attention to detail
Be courteous and joyful to our client patients
Time management and organizational skills
Able to adapt to a dynamic work workplace
Able to effectively navigate in highly congested traffic areas
Competent using a smartphone device
Requirements:
Must possess a valid AB Full Class 5 drivers license
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess a smartphone
Previous courier experience is an asset
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44.0 per week
