We are actively seeking a well-rounded Heavy Duty Technician to join our team working on a diverse fleet. The ideal candidate is a team player with vision to collectively work toward long-term goals and has a true understanding of our corporate values. This is an individual who brings relevant industry experience and exhibits strong leadership qualities by means of a result driven work ethic. They will consistently help execute maintenance and repairs on equipment, while contributing to daily operations across different company departments.
Responsibilities:
Able to assist in all aspects of both heavy equipment and farm equipment repairs and maintenance
Ability to understand technical specifications and help with maintenance documentation
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ability to work in a team or independently in a regularly changing workplace.
Able to operate equipment as necessary for operational or maintenance purposes
Able to travel to jobsites and perform repairs in the field, including some possible overnight stays
Qualifications:
Red Seal or equivalent experience in Truck Transport, Heavy Duty, or Farm Equipment
Experience maintaining on highway, heavy equipment, and farm equipment would be considered robust asset.
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
Adaptable to working in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
Have a clean drivers license and ability to use an E log
Education:
A post-secondary training in this field of work is considered an asset.
