Southern Aero has a staff of ~4 aircraft fuellers at the Lethbridge Airport. We fuel and provide servicing for private aircraft.

This position is to be the ops manager for our Lethbridge operation.

It is a combination of admin work, training employees, working the ramp, and hopefully being mechanically inclined to help out with general maintenance of the equipment and buildings.

Responsibilities and Duties
Fuel, deice, marshall, baggage loading/unloading of aircraft
Towing aircraft in and out of hangars
Operate ground support equipment
Keep our buildings and equipment in positive order
Scheduling, hiring, training, record keeping and emailing vendors/suppliers/customers
Maintaining a friendly and productive relationship with all airport staff and customers

Qualifications and Skills
Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.




Ability to lead employees in a constructive manner
Must be comfortable with working outdoors, day, night and in all weather conditions
Prior experience in equipment operation and/or maintenance is an asset
Prior experience managing personelle is an asset
Able to provide a criminal record check
Computer ability - excel sheets, plenty of emails/drafting memo's etc

Physical Requirements:
Physically fit
Bending and stooping to pick up tow bars and other equipment, up to 75 lbs
Standing and walking for extended periods of time

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
