Job Overview

We are seeking a mature, experienced and vigilant and proactive Security Guard to uphold safety and security standards athletic and aggressive sports environments. In this agile role, you will serve as the first line of defense, monitoring activities, preventing loss, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to safety will help maintain a protected and welcoming atmosphere.

Duties
Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity
Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to observe and record activity throughout the premises
Verify identities of visitors, contractors, and employees, ensuring proper authorization before granting access
Respond promptly to alarms, security breaches, or emergencies by assessing situations and coordinating with emergency responders if needed
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping
De-escalate potentially volatile encounters between individuals.
Perform loss prevention measures by inspecting for theft or vandalism and reporting any irregularities immediately




Enforce company policies and safety procedures consistently to promote a secure setting for all

Requirements
Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is advantageous.
Solid surveillance skills with familiarity in operating CCTV systems and conducting visual inspections
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to identify potential theft or security risks
Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts, maintaining focus on surroundings at all times
Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors
Ability to respond swiftly and appropriately in emergency situations with calm professionalism
Must be physically capable of standing, walking, or patrolling for extended periods

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
