Responsibilities
Safely operate DZ class trucks for local or regional freight deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring cargo is secure and undamaged
Conduct routine inspections of trucks and equipment, performing basic automotive repairs or reporting maintenance needs promptly
Verify shipment documentation, ensuring accurate delivery and pickup of freight items
Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery records in compliance with regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff,



and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve issues swiftly
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during loading, unloading, or transit

Requirements
Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Solid knowledge of heavy equipment operation including forklifts
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping
Physical ability to lift heavy objects, operate machinery, and work in various weather conditions
Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking and freight handling

Pay: $20.79-$36.91 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
