Healthy Heart Centre, a multi-location cardiology clinic serving the Greater Toronto Area, is seeking a qualified Echocardiographer/Sonographer to join our team. This role combines pediatric/neonatal echocardiography with general adult echocardiography (resting and stress), offering the flexibility of a part time or full-time schedule depending on caseload and availability.

About the Role
As we expand our echocardiography services to include neonatal and pediatric patients, we're looking for a skilled sonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic studies across both pediatric and adult populations. Pediatric and adult patients would typically be scheduled on separate days, allowing for focused, specialized care in each area.

Responsibilities
Perform pediatric/neonatal and adult echocardiograms (resting and stress) using appropriate probes and protocols
Ensure accurate measurements and comprehensive imaging in accordance with clinical standards
Communicate promptly with the on-site physician regarding any unusual or urgent findings
Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, including with parents/guardians present for pediatric cases
Accurately document studies within our clinical reporting system




Manage appointment scheduling and workflow efficiently as caseload grows

Requirements
CMRITO certification required
Prior hands-on experience performing pediatric echocardiography/sonography is required
Prior hands-on experience performing adult resting and stress echocardiography is required
Strong communication skills for working with patients of all ages, families, and referring physicians
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-site clinical team
Familiarity with standard ECG and imaging equipment
