Farmcrest Foods Ltd. is seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver to become a vital part of our farming operation. You will transport bulk grain commodities from Alberta back to our farm in Salmon Arm, BC. Duties
Safely operate Class 1 commercial truck & Super B trailers to transport commodities from designated locations in Alberta, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
Adhere to the CVSE rules & regulations
Maintain accurate driving logs using Motive E-Log
Communicate with suppliers to arrange load pickup times
Unload & weigh grain upon return

Qualifications:




Minimum of 2 years experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 license and clean driving record
Mountain driving experience required. Must be able to use tire chains.
Current Canadian Residency
Previous experience pulling B-Trains
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks and related equipment
Robust attention to detail for vehicle inspections, documentation accuracy, and cargo security
