Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be as a Truck Driver; you will be responsible for transporting wood residuals such as sawdust, shavings, wood chips to various locations in the Lower Mainland. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring that our products are delivered safely and on time. This job requires you to occasionally cross the border into the USA, so a passport / visa, and a drug test is required.

Duties:
Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a truck or tractor-trailer, walking floor trailers, and blower trucks.
Operate a blower truck installing sawdust, soil, and mulches for the agricultural, residential, and commercial industries.
Maintain safety program
Driver / Operator is responsible for operating the blower truck computer and remote control during the installation (training provided)
Work as a team with the blower truck assistant (pipe man) you will help with hose setup and movement during the install as well as the cleanup after the job.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines
Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance issues
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage,



fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols

Requirements:
Manual Transmission Endorsement
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance procedures is a plus
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo
Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
Solid communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively
Ability to take a drug test
