The Role

As Maître D’Hôtel, you are the point person on event night. You ensure every detail — from guest arrival to the last drink served — reflects our standards of excellence.

Responsibilities
Oversee the full execution of each event (food, beverage, tech, guest flow)
Serve as the company's face to clients and their guests
Coordinate service staff, caterers, and third-party vendors in office
Uphold house standards for service, cleanliness, and presentation
Handle the unexpected with calm and professionalism
Manage setup and teardown according to the event plan
Communicate needs and follow-ups to the operations team post-event

Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel, high-volume restaurant, or event management
Bilingual French and English (spoken and written)
Working knowledge of Cluster (bar and inventory management)




Familiarity with RACJ regulations and responsible alcohol service
Food safety certification (MAPAQ) — an asset
Valid Canadian work permit
Available evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation and benefits
$30-$35/hr based on experience
