Part time Medical Aide

Vivo Cura Healthcare is a multidisciplinary clinic supporting patients with musculoskeletal pain. Our team is committed to providing respectful, compassionate care and helping patients return to the activities that matter to them.

We are seeking a part-time Medical Aide to support patient care and clinic operations. Reporting to the LPN Lead, this role helps prepare patients and treatment spaces, supports clinicians, and contributes to a smooth patient experience.

Scheduling may vary based on clinic, physician, and procedure schedules.

Responsibilities
Welcome patients, confirm appointment readiness, and assist with required paperwork.
Answer routine questions and guide patients to change rooms when needed.
Prepare treatment rooms before procedures and complete cleaning and turnover afterward.
Enter and update appropriate information in the electronic medical record.
Help maintain accurate, current patient records.
Complete inventory checks and restock clinic supplies.
Follow daily cleaning and infection-prevention procedures.
Assist clinicians during patient assessments and treatments, within the scope of the role.
Protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Follow clinic policies,



procedures, and safety protocols.
Provide additional administrative support as needed.

Qualifications
Strong organization, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
Explicit, professional communication and a patient-centred approach.
Ability to work effectively in a cooperative clinical setting.
Comfort using computers and electronic medical-record systems.
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program is an asset.
At least two years of relevant health care aide or clinical support experience is preferred.
Experience supporting patients with musculoskeletal conditions is an asset.
