Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Experienced Pastry Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with the ability to create visually appealing designs that meet customer specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, robust customer service skills, and a solid understanding of food safety practices. The Cake Decorator will work in a quick-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with other team members to ensure high-quality products are delivered to our customers.

Duties
Decorate cakes and other baked goods according to customer orders and specifications.
Oversee the operation, prepare prep list, report to the Manager.
Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant application, and airbrushing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area while adhering to food safety standards.
Assist in the preparation of cake batters and other baked items as needed.
Package finished products for display or delivery, ensuring they are presented attractively.




Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
Collaborate with team members to develop recent cake designs and menu items.

Experience
3yrs Previous experience in cake decorating or a similar role within the food industry is a must.
3 yrs of baking experience is a must - sponge cake, cookies, loaf, pies, etc
Must have Diploma of Pastry Art & Baking Program or equivalent.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and baking techniques is required.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
