Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting equipment to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure high-quality output while adhering to safety standards and production schedules. Responsibilities
Set up laser cutting machines, including programming and calibration using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) systems.
Operate laser equipment efficiently to cut, engrave, or mark materials such as metal, plastic, or wood according to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to accurately produce parts.
Conduct quality control inspections using calipers, hand tools, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and tolerances meet standards.
Maintain detailed production records, including job logs,



machine settings, and inspection reports.
Follow safety protocols diligently while handling machinery and materials, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications
Proven experience operating laser cutting or engraving machines in a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of programming, software and tools.
Familiarity with Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings.
Mechanical aptitude with experience in machining processes like CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, welding, and assembly.
Proficiency with hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Warehouse experience or familiarity with packaging procedures is a plus
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
