Title: Social Content Creator

Department: Member Services

Reports to: Events, Marketing & Communications Manager, Events & Fundraising Coordinator

Duration: Seasonal, Part Time (December 2026 to April 2027) – 12 to 15 hours per week

Position: Work closely with our Events, Marketing & Communications Team to ensure timely, creative and energetic content capture and sharing of the Beaver Valley experience throughout the winter season. This role will create engaging photo and video content for BVSC’s social media channels, showcasing everything from on-hill action and events to programs, members and the unique Club community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Capture photo and/or video content at events, races, programs or activities
Assist with growing social media content & creation for the Club
Collaborating with Marketing team to create and execute social media strategies
Follow brand guidelines and content best practices, submitting content on time
Adhere to BVSC Risk Management policies
Perform other BVSC related duties as required
Section 28 of the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA)

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
Interest in content creation and digital media




Comfortable using a smartphone or camera for photo/video capture
Familiarity with social media platforms & current trends
Willingness to learn and take creative direction
Experience with sports photography would be an asset
Experience with Capture Cut, Canva or other media programs would be an asset
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Ability to ski and/or snowboard would be an asset
Ability to work and stay calm in a rapid-paced environment.
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings during the ski season.

Working Conditions & Hazards:
Ergonomics from sitting and standing for extended periods of time.
Event-work both indoors and outdoors, managing temperature and weather changes.

PPE:
Ski helmet is mandatory at all times while sliding on the hill.
DOT helmet is mandatory when operating or being transported on three wheeled vehicles and/or snowmobiles.
Other PPE as mandated by departmental manuals or procedures

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 15.0 per week
