Java Front End Developer:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Java Front End Developer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

Java Front End Developer - Job Description:
The Java Front End Developer will lead the design and development of complex full stack applications using Java and Angular. This role involves driving architecture decisions and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards while mentoring junior and mid-level developers.

Java Front End Developer - Responsibilities:
Lead design and development of complex full stack applications using Java and Angular
Own end-to-end delivery of application components, from design through deployment
Drive architecture decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
Resolve high-impact technical challenges across systems and platforms
Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance
Partner with stakeholders to define system enhancements and strategic solutions
Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and scalability of applications
Lead testing strategies, code reviews, and deployment processes




Identify risks and ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements

Java Front End Developer - Mandatory Skills:
7–10+ years of experience in application development
Advanced expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and microservices architecture
Strong experience with API design, SQL, and distributed systems
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices
Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor teams
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Java Front End Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with React and JavaScript
Familiarity with accessible design principles
Solid teamwork and collaboration skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Experience working in a hybrid work setting

Java Front End Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the right to hire.
