Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, including order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience. The position offers an opportunity to work with various types of heavy equipment like forklifts and overhead cranes, contributing to efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will start at $23.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
Assist with order packaging, and order fulfillment processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products
Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipments and maintaining inventory accuracy
Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials according to safety protocols
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
Assist in the operation of load & unload activities for incoming and outgoing shipments
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop
Requirements
Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and safety standards
Valid certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklift
Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in physically demanding settings
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail
Able to work in a team environment
Must be punctual and able to work 5 days a week
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
