Duties
Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Load, secure, and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, performing basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain optimal performance.
Verify shipment accuracy, complete delivery documentation, and obtain signatures from recipients to confirm successful deliveries.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate schedules, provide updates,



and resolve any delivery issues promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and equipment throughout shifts.
Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling to prevent accidents or damage.

Experience
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid AZ license or equivalent certification.
Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other heavy machinery used in freight handling.
Knowledge of freight logistics, loading/unloading procedures, and safety standards in transportation environments.
Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road.
Ability to work independently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
