Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Truck Dispatcher to join our growing team in Trenton. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily truck operations, communicating with drivers and customers, and ensuring shipments are scheduled and delivered efficiently.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and dispatch trucks and drivers for daily shipments.
Plan and manage routes, schedules, pickups, and deliveries.
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, brokers, and other parties.
Monitor shipments and provide updates when required.
Handle dispatch documentation, trip sheets, and related records.
Resolve delivery, scheduling, and operational issues quickly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and transportation requirements.
Maintain accurate records and support smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements




Minimum 3 years of experience as a truck dispatcher or in a similar trucking/transportation role.
Strong knowledge of trucking and transportation operations.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency with computers and dispatch/transportation software.
Ability to communicate professionally with drivers and customers.
Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
