Metalcraft Technology Inc. is a manufacturer of precision sheet metal parts serving clients in Canada and the U.S. We are located in Coquitlam, BC, and currently looking for a Welder to join our team.

Only candidates who live in Metro Vancouver will be considered for this position.

Job responsibilities:
Perform TIG and MIG welding operations on various metal components
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
Set up and operate welding equipment, including TIG and MIG welding, torches, and other tools
Clean and prepare surfaces for welding by removing rust, dirt, grease, or other contaminants
Position and secure workpieces using clamps, fixtures, or other holding devices
Weld components together according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and weld quality
Inspect finished welds for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments as needed
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications and skills:




1+ years of welding experience with aluminum and stainless steel is preferred
Proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques and processes
Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
Robust attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures
