We are a family flooring company since 1995 serving the greater Ottawa area. We provide full service flooring needs to commercial and residential clients.
Responsibilities
Drive a 5 ton truck in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario valley to deliver flooring materials
Must provide a clean drivers abstract to be considered
Deliver approximately 2 - 3 deliveries per day (heavy lifting of boxes up to 50lbs/box)
Deliver boxes or carpets to clients home or business in an orderly fashion
Unload materials and merchandise from incoming transport and stack them to assigned places
Ability to drive a forklift to unload skids and carpets from transport or relocate them in the warehouse
Cut carpet and prepare orders for installations
Pick-up/deliver materials to/from suppliers to job sites
Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
Help maintain a protected and orderly setting of the facilities - loading dock and show room
General janitorial duties
Skills
Proven experience as forklift operator
Attention to detail
Able to complete assigned tasks with limited supervision
Excellent physical condition and coordination (able to lift up to 50lbs)
High school diploma
Valid "G' license
Criminal record check
Salary: $21.00 per hour to start
