Role Overview:
We are seeking a agile Legal Assistant to support legal, office and administrative functions. This role includes contributing to projects, being outcome oriented, showing initiative, attention to detail, and independent work in a remote workplace as a core member of the firm team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist lawyers with document preparation, document management, research, and project management.
Support office and administration functions with scheduling, filing, invoicing, and travel arrangements.
Follow firm policies and processes.
Support marketing on social media, website updates, and business development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, paralegal diploma, or equivalent experience.
5+ years in law or consulting administrative roles.
Advanced remote work proficiency with Apple, Microsoft 365 (including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive), and legal software (Clio preferred).
Strong organizational, time management, professional oral and written communication, and client-focused problem-solving skills.
Previous experience with Indigenous governance, Northern or Indigenous communities is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
