Duties
Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
Assist in menu planning by providing input on recipes and ingredient selections
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including knives and cooking utensils
Support food service operations by plating dishes efficiently and accurately
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation during busy hours
Contribute to catering events and special functions as needed, ensuring excellent presentation and service

Skills




Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen is required
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
Solid knife skills with the ability to efficiently prepare ingredients for various dishes
Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus
Ability to plan menus and execute meal preparation with attention to detail
Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
Experience in catering, serving, or supporting dietary services enhances your suitability for this role
Effective communication skills to work seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
