Avery HR has immediate openings for experienced CNC Machine Operators for temp-to-perm positions in Brampton.

ALL TRAINING WILL BE ON DAY SHIFT FOR UP TO 8 WEEKS.

Shifts:
Nights - 10:00pm to 6:30am, Sunday to Thursday

Pay: from $22.00 per hour, plus shift premium

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate CNC machinery (lathe and mills) for production to established production rates
Operate manual machines as required
Use measuring devices to maintain required machine tolerances
Ability to hold required tolerances through machine offsets, tooling replacement including inserts
Package and apply proper identification of machined parts
Maintain valuable housekeeping, follow lean Manufacturing Process
Report to the supervisor any damages or malfunction of the equipment and tools
Wear appropriate safety equipment
Adhere to company policies and safety rules
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

SAFETY EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT:

Safety equipment that must be worn on the job are as follows:




Safety shoes with metal guard
Safety glasses
Ear plugs

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:
Minimum FOUR years experience with CNC Lathe and Milling machines (3 axis & 4 axis)
Ability to read blueprints / drawings and follow engineering instructions
Ability to use various types of measuring equipment
Ability to use various types of hand and power tools
Crane training an asset
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
Valuable verbal and written communication skills
Previous work experience in an ISO certified company preferred
