Overview
We are seeking friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Waitstaff/Hostess to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, managing reservations, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in food service or hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a passion for guest relations. Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation seating efficiently
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus promptly
Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff
Assist with serving food and beverages in a courteous and timely manner
Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and billing
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area




Manage phone reservations with proper phone etiquette and guest communication skills
Support team members in delivering exceptional guest services and hospitality

Skills
Prior experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service is preferred
Robust customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and guest services standards
Professional phone etiquette and ability to manage reservations effectively
Experience in hotel or guest services is advantageous but not required
