Professional Seamstress (Full-Time)

Page The Cleaner is a reputable dry cleaning and tailor company dedicated to providing impeccable service and quality craftsmanship. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Skilled Seamstress to join our team for full-time hours.

Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of garment alterations, repairs, and custom tailoring with precision and an exceptional eye for detail.
Work with a variety of fabrics and garment types, including delicate, formal, and heavy-duty materials.
Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines, sergers, and pressing equipment.
Consult with customers to understand their alteration needs, taking accurate measurements and providing professional recommendations.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and meets specified deadlines.
Assist with quality control of finished garments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work area.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a professional seamstress, tailor, or in a similar role within the garment or dry cleaning industry.
Impeccable sewing, fitting, and alteration skills.
Thorough knowledge of garment construction and textile properties.
Solid customer service and communication skills.




Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to handle a consistent workload.
Dedication to producing high-quality work.

Basic computer proficiency.
Current WHMIS certification.
Physical Requirements:
Stamina and energy to stand for long periods and be active throughout the shift.
Capability to lift and move large, heavy loads of garments, often in a warm production environment.
Mindset & Attitude:
A super happy and energized demeanor, maintaining a proactive and caring approach toward colleagues and customers.
The ability to work efficiently and responsibly with minimal direct supervision.

Schedule:
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
