Choices Markets in Kitsilano currently has an opening for a Receiver. We are seeking someone who enjoys working independently and has an eye for detail.

Responsibilities for this position include:
processing all incoming product on a timely basis;
ensuring that all orders are complete and in good condition;
maintaining positive relationships with vendors and delivery drivers;
completing all necessary paperwork with efficiency and accuracy;
organizing deliveries onto carts and into storage areas in an efficient manner;
keeping workspaces, storage areas and delivery areas safe, clean and organized;
maintaining positive relationships with co-workers and customers; and
adhering to all OHS and other policy requirements.

The ideal person for this position:
is naturally organized in every way – thoughts, actions, and written materials;




is highly detail oriented;
is personable and diplomatic;
enjoys working independently;
is comfortable and proficient using Microsoft Office software;
is willing and able to work in all kinds of weather;
is productive, hardworking and effective;
is capable of ongoing heavy lifting (up to 70 pounds); and
is comfortable in a physically demanding job that includes bending, crouching and reaching.
