We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Child and Youth Workers to join our team. The successful candidate will support children and youth with emotional, behavioural, and/or developmental needs in a safe, structured, and nurturing out of home environment. Must commit to working every other weekend (Fri-Sun) minimum

Key Responsibilities
Provide daily care, supervision, and emotional support to children and youth
Implement individualized care plans, behaviour support strategies, and life-skills programming
Foster a safe, respectful, and trauma-informed environment
Support routines such as meals, hygiene, schoolwork, recreation, and bedtime
Use positive behaviour management and crisis intervention techniques when required
Maintain accurate documentation, incident reports, and shift notes
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, families, and external professionals
Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development
Ensure compliance with agency policies, licensing standards, and child protection legislation

Successful applicants will:

Be currently enrolled in or completed a post-secondary program in a related field (Behavioural Science, Child and Youth Care, Developmental Services, Social Services, Community and Justice Services)



or minimum 5 years experience working with complex youth

Ø Possess current First Aid and CPR

Ø Possess current Nonviolent Physical Crisis Intervention certificate though CPI

Possess a current and transparent broad records check, valid driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract

Ø Be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 30.0 per week
