Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the protected and efficient operation of snow removal equipment to ensure transparent and accessible roadways and pathways during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in challenging weather conditions.

Duties
Operate snow plow vehicles and equipment to clear snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas.
Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment, including checks on fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall functionality.
Utilize hand tools and power tools for minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
Collaborate with team members to develop effective snow removal strategies based on weather forecasts and site conditions.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating machinery in various environments.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment used, and any issues encountered during operations.

Qualifications




Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators or snow plows is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Previous experience in construction or related fields is advantageous.
