Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time CAD Specialist, focusing on SolidWorks design work one day each week! Responsibilities
Develop detailed 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Experience in sheet metal design and welding is necessary.
Assist in creating technical schematics and drawings for manufacturing or construction purposes
Collaborate with team members to interpret design concepts and translate them into CAD files
Review and revise CAD models based on feedback, maintaining high standards of quality and precision
Support the integration of CAD designs with other software tools used to fabricate the sheet metal parts




Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project requirements
Maintain organized digital files of CAD projects for easy access and version control

Qualifications
Proven experience working with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drafting
Familiarity with other CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, MicroStation is a plus
Strong understanding of schematics, welding symbols, technical drawings, and drafting principles.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate CAD models
Basic knowledge of 2D animation techniques is advantageous but not required
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
